It is slightly acidic and toxic in nature and has moisture absorption character due to its weak acidic nature. Sodium Silico Fluoride is used for fluoridation of water. It is used in the glass and enamel industries. It is also used for other metallurgical applications such as foundry additives & cover flux. It is also used as insecticides and fungicides and for wood preservative.
